When you can't even see the house because the photos are so bad

March 31st, 2013

A few basic questions come up when you’re looking for a house: where is it, what does it cost and most importantly: what’s it look like? When looks are so important, why are real estate photos often of such poor quality?

If you're trying to sell a house (or anything for that matter) you won't be quite as successful if you can't make it look its best. That's why lousy listing photos are a real problem.

Sunshine Coast homes, photographed well

December 25th, 2012

It’s got to look good when you’re trying to sell something (really, no matter what it is). You polish it up, dress it up and make it neat and tidy. Then you take some pictures of it – excellent photos of course, not of the mediocre kind.

Imagine two similar houses, one has good listing photos and the other has horrible listing photos. Which one of the two might attract the most attention?

Photo show of nice Sunshine Coast homes for sale

September 4th, 2012

To grab your attention regarding a nice home for sale, it may work to show you excellent listing photos. This, as opposed to representing a house with bad photography. It’s the image that’ll make the first impression.

Yes, this is a nice home, probably quite spectacular. You can see that instantly even with this little photo. Yet, it's possible to mess up such an image with bad photography.

Appealing Sunshine Coast homes, it may not be a coincidence

April 13th, 2012

How can you fall in love with an ugly home? Why would you even want to see an uninviting, dark house? Who wants a house with tiny, cramped rooms? Yet many real estate listings give just that poor a first impression.

True enough, ugly homes sometimes still sell; however we can all agree that people will tend to pay more for a nice house than an ugly one (everything else being the same).

Ultra wide angle photography in real estate

January 18th, 2012

Some listing photos look good, others look really bland. Why the difference? It could be as simple as the difference between using an ultra wide angle lens or not.

It's hard to make an ugly house look good - but there is a way to make a spectacular home look even better. Ultra wide angle photography can be ideal for real estate photos.

Want your house sold? Get good photo images!

December 4th, 2011

Just leafing through real estate listings in general, you’ve probably wondered at times why certain properties sport such atrocious listing photographs. When a property doesn’t show at its best, the buyer can’t really see it and the seller loses a marketing opportunity.

Professioanl Real Estate Photography

August 11th, 2011

Everybody can take a photo these days, if not on a $69 camera, then on a nice digital SLR product. If all else fails, one could always snap a picture from one’s phone. All just a few steps short of professional photography, of course.

Professional Real Estate photography on the BC Sunshine Coast. It takes more than an SLR camera with a super wide-angle lens to make the difference. Realistic photography is more important now than ever before, thanks to Internet marketing.

The wide-angle lens can take photos that'll make everything look out of proportion, this image being a perfect example of that. Real estate photography, howeve ...
